An easy winner of a 1m Bath maiden (firm) for Charles Hills in July 2017, he didn't quite hit the heights in two subsequent starts in handicaps (highly tried). Sold for 48,000 gns in November and found a suitable opportunity here.
Purchased for 525,000 gns as a yearling in October 2015. Made a belated and winning debut in impressive style over this trip at Wolverhampton in March 2017. Clearly had issues since; left Richard Hannon 11-months later for just 60,000 gns.
A Polytrack winner at Deauville in August 2017 (7½f), he moved on for 31,000 gns in October and lines up for his UK/stable debut against other recent stable switchers. Has previous good ground placed turf form.
Exceedingly modest for previous trainer Tom Dascombe (0 from 6) and hasn't seen any competitive action for exactly two years. Lowly rated (52), and couldn't be entertained on debut for Alan Berry.
Well beaten in all four career starts, including in a trio of bumpers over almost a two year period. No realistic chance despite the paucity of opposition numerically.
GIANT'S TREASURE remains an intriguing individual and has been found the ideal opportunity to get his racing career back on track for his new trainer David O'Meara. He looks to be comfortably the best of these horses on paper, with Balestra taken for the forecast on account of his previous winning form on firm ground.
