Going the right way in two starts this term, with an all-the-way win over this trip in a Lingfield maiden earlier in the month. Goes handicapping with fair claims on the back of that.

Pick of two-year-old French form would appeal but finished last of eight in 1m2f handicap at Windsor last month, drops in trip and has work to do on recent efforts.

Enjoyed a productive August 2017 in France, with back-to-back victories at Clairefontaine (7f soft) and Deauville (1m good), so rates as a versatile filly. Poor at Ascot recently in tougher race, drawn wide today.

Cape Blanco colt, won his first two starts last year and likes to race handily. Perhaps failed to see out 1m2f on reappearance at Newmarket this month, drop in trip looks right for AW debut.

Promising in two maidens last term over 7f, less to on reappearance at Doncaster on soft over that trip last month, goes handicapping now and surely must produce more to be in the mix. Not discounted.

Vocalised gelding showed some promise last year for Jim Bolger, finished close third on AW bow at Southwell over a mile on debut for this trainer. Not certain to have relished 1m2f at Redcar since, down to the mile again and can be competitive.

Shown ability in three maidens, goes handicapping for the first time and has just over 6L to find with Lingfield winner Angelina D'or. Can improve.

Ran poorest race of four in Wolverhampton novice stakes in November on sole AW outing, well fended off on reappearance at Nottingham this month and must improve.

Intello colt, cost €35,000 as a foal. Related to multiple winners, showed some ability in maidens last year, though always likely to fare better in handicaps. Market check ahead of reappearance.

Promising fourth over 7f here on debut last September, not exactly built on that in three runs since, though may have plenty more to say now going handicapping and has a recent run behind him.

Fair maiden, going off unfancied in three turf starts so far, makes handicap/AW bow here and sports first-time blinkers. Improvement could be forthcoming.

Won a Class 5 Lingfield handicap in February off a mark of 61, though that was by some distance his best effort from seven to date. Poor effort over this C&D last month (and since on turf), visor added today.

Promise shown in two of three maidens last summer, both over 6f on good/good to firm ground. Filly is worth paying some attention back from a break for handicap debut and first AW start.

Maiden decent start in low-grade Lingfield novice auction in January, but backwards steps in two runs since and must improve on switch to handicaps.

Forecasts

Reshaan (9/2), Change Maker (6/1), Angelina D'or (13/2), Paco's Prince (7/1), Moltoir (8/1), Trumps Up (10/1), Prime Minister (10/1), Elusif (10/1), Taurean Dancer (14/1), Vice Marshal (14/1), Looking For Carl (25/1), Controversial Lady (50/1), Safe Waters (50/1), Star Of Vendome (66/1)

Verdict

MOLTOIR might be worth giving a chance to here. The ex-Jim Bolger inmate showed some promise on his debut for this yard at Southwell and perhaps didn't stay a longer trip at Redcar next time. He's on a fair mark and may improve with first-time blinkers on now. Angelina D'Or is one to note on handicap bow after an all-the-way win at Lingfield, though the draw may deny her the chance to deploy those tactics again. Paco's Prince was behind her then but should improve while Reshaan and Safe Waters are worth closer inspection on their respective handicap bows.
