The selection finished a close third in a competitive event at Newmarket last time out and with similar conditions forecast here he can get the better of Van Gerwen who has run well on a sound surface in the past and can reverse Pontefract running with Tawny Port who has shown his best form on softer surfaces than he's set to encounter in this.
