Dual winner in his two-year-old campaign over 5f on good/soft both times e progressed nicely throughout last year. Looked to continue that progress on his comeback run and should come on for that outing; more to come from him here.

Enjoyed a good first campaign winning a maiden over C&D and two AW nurseries. Not seen for a while now and could need this run off a 4lb higher mark than when he was last seen winning in December.

A winner here last year over C&D although he only had to beat three rivals and stood out on form. Shaped as though he would come on for his last run when encountering very testing ground for the first time on his handicap debut.

Still to win a race but has run shown some useful form all the same and this looks very much his level. This will be his first run of the year and he may need the outing with this 6f trip looking rather sharp.

Improved for a break and switch to handicap company when winning a Pontefract handicap over 6f on heavy ground. Didn't really build on that win in two subsequent starts and looked as though he was worth another try at 7f.

Landed a gamble on his final juvenile outing switched to the Fibresand and resumed winning ways back there in February off a 7lb higher mark. Form on turf isn't as good and he failed to handle testing conditions at Musselburgh (1m, heavy) last time.

Minor and nursery winner as a two-year-old he ended his season with a sound enough run in a 5f AW nursery. Starts his three-year-old campaign with a run of 6f off a mark that has looked beyond him before.

Course winner who has already had a couple of runs this year having won a 5f novice here last year. Looked in decent form on her return but disappointed last time at Yarmouth on ground that appeared a little too quick.

Forecasts

Armed Response (3/1), Shaheen (4/1), Camacho Chief (4/1), Humble Gratitude (9/2), Kyllachy Dragon (9/2), Move It Move It (6/1), Montague (10/1), Kalagia (11/1), Big Les (12/1), Hard Graft (16/1)

Verdict

As with all three-year-old handicaps we are faced with a fair few improving types and it may to side with KYLLACHY DRAGON who despite not winning yet has shown some decent form and will be happier back over this 6f trip. Armed Response looks one of the main dangers along with Camacho Chief with both those protagonists having had course experience. Montague was well beaten earlier in the week at York but will be dangerous if he gets an easy lead in this smaller field while a strongly run race would bring Big Les and Move It Move It into the equation.
  1. Kyllachy Dragon
  2. Armed Response
  3. Camacho Chief
