Won her only race as a juvenile when trained by Mick Channon and made a successful start for current trainer at Brighton recently. Top weight on handicap debut, but impossible to know how good she is.
One win in four starts as a juvenile and her poor display on her final outing and handicap bow can be put down to heavy ground. Down 2lb and wears cheekpieces for the first time on seasonal reappearance.
Landed a Newbury juvenile contest last season and made a pleasing return to action when third of eight to a promising sort at Windsor last month. Runs off the same mark and should strip fitter this time.
Off the mark at the sixth attempt when winning a 1m½f Nottingham handicap at the start of this month. Up 4lb, but extra distance of this race ought to suit and there should be more to come.
Six runs since the turn of the year and yet to get her head in front, but she has run well on several occasions. May be vulnerable to some slightly less exposed types.
Promise in three starts as a two-year-old and ran well again when fourth of nine on her return to the racecourse in a recent Nottingham handicap. Has an each-way squeak off the same rating.
Forecasts
Time Change (11/4), Fayrouz Rose (11/4), Last Enchantment (9/2), Mahaarat (5/1), Point In Time (7/1), Apple Anni (14/1), Dolly Mixture (20/1)
Top-weight Fayrouz Rose is 2-2 and has to be taken seriously, but she has to give a fair amount of weight to an improving sort in LAST ENCHANTMENT, who can follow up her Nottingham success with another victory off 4lb higher. Mahaarat should do better this season and is interesting in first-time cheekpieces, while Time Change and Point In Time are others to consider.
