Has made a good start to his career, going close on debut and winning at Lingfield (7f, AW) last month. Drops in trip here with a penalty to shoulder, but looks to have enough speed to have a big say again.
Ran well in a similar race at Kempton (6f) in October and improved on that with a win at Chelmsford (6f) in November. Will need to take another step forward to defy a penalty but no reason why he can't give another good account.
Scored at Newcastle (5f, Tapeta) on debut in January and bettered that with a creditable effort in a conditions event (5f) back there a month later. That form looks very solid and it would be no surprise to see him go close to defying a penalty.
Posted a couple of reasonable efforts in novices' events at Kempton (6f) and Chelmsford (7f) in November and December. Will need significant improvement on that to win this and looks more of a handicap prospect.
Sixth foal. Full-brother to 6f AW winner Mazzini, half-brother to three other winners, two of them at this trip. Dam also a 6f winning full-sister to July Cup winner Frizzante. Promising pedigree and good debut looks possible.
Went close on debut in a Kempton novices' race (6f) in November and was unfortunate when losing his pilot coming out of the stalls last time at Lingfield when sent off at 7-2. Should be capable of a good showing.
Well held in both starts here over 7f and then C&D last year. Will have a handicap mark to work with after this run and that is when he will become of greater interest.

An interesting opener where NEAREST GREEN is the suggestion. Kevin Ryan's gelding showed speed both when winning at Newcastle and then improving on that in a decent event last time. This extra furlong is unlikely to be a problem and he could be up to defying his penalty. Others carrying extra due to their success are Emblazoned and Etisalat and both are entitled to claims again today, with Lashabeeh not ruled out. Harry's Bar is also of interest on debut.
