Up 8lb for a clear-cut victory at Kempton last time out, and now moves out of novice company for this next assignment. If running to that level should prove very tough to beat once again.
Still 11lb higher than his most recent winning mark over fences. Handicapper hasn't given him much help off the back of some moderate efforts, and the step back in trip here isn't sure to suit.
This looks easier that the majority of races he's been running in recently, both over hurdles and over fences, but he'll need to utilise the class drop as well as a 4lb drop down the weights.
Pulled-up when last seen in a point-to-point and has mostly been hunter chasing recently when seen under rules, with mixed success. Likely to be outclassed here.
C&D winner who wasn't at his best when well-beaten off a mark just 2lb higher than this at Kempton last time out. Looks vulnerable to younger rivals in this.
Yet to really make his mark in handicap company and needs to bounce back from a poor performance when pulled-up at Kempton last month; down 4lb.
Forecasts
Bestwork (6/4), Mick Thonic (9/4), Calin Du Brizais (4/1), Moorlands Jack (9/1), Tikken Away (12/1), Mr Satco (16/1)
This should go to BESTWORK, who is up 8lb for a clear-cut victory at Kempton last time but won that as he liked. Now in an open handicap if he can run to anything like that level he should be able to record a sixth win over fences. Mick Thonic, meanwhile, could utilise the drop in class to provide the main danger to the selection while Tikken Away could be a distant third.
