Well held in a pair of minor events nine months apart over sprint trips. Shown very little that has made an impact on either occasion. Could be better off in this sphere or low-grade handicaps.
Failed to win as a juvenile but showed improved form to win a 6f Fibresand seller (best efforts on that surface). Failed to build on that run on a different AW surface (Tapeta) in a low-grade handicap (7f); badly off at the weights here.
Previously placed over 5f (including over C&D) when with Richard Fahey prior to scoring first-time out for new yard (second handicap start/first on AW; 6f). Failed to impress in two further 6f AW handicaps; back from a break over 5f down in grade.
Well held in three minor events (two as a juvenile) over 5f. Finished last on his latest outing returning from a 10 months break and drops into this grade for the first time with blinkers being now used.
Made little impact as a juvenile (ran six times) and has been beaten in this grade before. Made little impression in two nursery starts to end last season and now tries 5f for the first time back in selling company.
Still a maiden but did show some fair form on occasions most notably when runner-up in a Nottingham nursery (first try at 6f). Her two runs this year have shown a little promise but this 5f trip looks a little sharp for her (outpaced last time).
There was some potential in her initial outings but she failed to improve for a step into nurseries. Both her runs in decent enough handicaps this year have left something to be desired (6f) after a wind op; now down in grade and trip.
Modest form in six runs last year when with Tony Carroll including in nurseries. Hasn't shown an awful lot more for this stable (all runs at 5f) even with the change of tactics in the last two runs in handicaps; drops in grade now.
Forecasts
Ce De Nullis (2/1), Sienna Says (11/4), Moonlit Sands (7/2), Laydee Victoria (8/1), Lina's Star (9/1), Cavendish Place (14/1), Money For Luck (33/1), Angie B (33/1)
Not an event that you would want to get heavily involved with for betting purposes with a few of these trying this grade for the first time. Ce De Nullis has some of the best form on offer here but this trip does look rather sharp for her and 6f looks more her trip these days. Moonlit Sands on her past form ought to be able to take a hand in this while it will be interesting to see if Sienna Says reverts to front-running tactics from the plum stall 1 draw. Blinkers are being used to spark up Money For Luck but LINA’S STAR is given the vote she has at least won a race before and been runner-up over C&D.
- Lina's Star
