Big Boots12
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-8| J: Charles Bishop| T: M R Channon| D
7/4
Maiden winner at Bath (5f, good) on debut early this month, open to making further progress and yard going well, should be there when it counts.

James Watt13
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: Hayley Turner| T: M L W Bell| D
2/1
Debut winner of similar trip at Brighton 13 days ago and that form already boosted by the runner-up coming out to win at Chester last week. Not hard to make case for.

Adam Tiler13
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: G Mosse| T: R M H Cowell
5/1
US bred, with plenty speed in pedigree, slowly away on debut at Yarmouth (5f, soft) on debut but still managed to get third spot. Can go well if breaking better.

8/1
A €34,000 foal, resold for €60,000 as a yearling this Dandy Man colt promises to stay a bit further than this trip, but represents leading handler on debut and wouldn't dismissing.

Li Kui
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: L Morris| T: P & O Cole
25/1
Poet's Voice colt cost 36,000 gns and is a half-brother to two-year-old 6f winner Ertiyad. Facing a couple of winners on debut and market likely to tell more.

(10)
Horse silk
33/1
Sent off 22/1 on debut at Leicester over this trip and finished fourth of six, beaten close to 6L on heavy going. Capable of improving, though perhaps not enough to win today.

Horse silk
16/1
A €37,000 Lethal Force colt, should prove capable of leaving his mark before long, trainer not firing first-time-out winners of late and presence of two winners make this look tough.

(5)
Horse silk
33/1
Cost £44,000 as a yearling. Sent off at 7/1 but struggled to get involved at Bath (5f, good) on debut. Much more needed to play a hand today.
9

Horse silk
Ever Rock
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: J P Fahy| T: J S Moore
100/1
Society Rock filly, represents trainer who is just 1-66 with two-year-olds over the previous 12 months and a shock should she double that tally now.
10
(9)
Horse silk
50/1
War Command filly and a half-sister to a winner over 6f. This yard not renowned for their record in these types of races, however.

Forecasts

Big Boots (7/4), James Watt (2/1), Adam Tiler (5/1), Dancing Speed (8/1), Prince of Rome (16/1), Li Kui (25/1), Temple of Wonder (33/1), Made In Lewisham (33/1), Nananita (50/1), Ever Rock (100/1)

Verdict

JAMES WATT ought to prove tough to halt here. He made a confident winning start at Brighton on the first of the month and the runner-up, Wedding Date, boosted the form in nice style when smoothly winning at Chester last week. Bath winner Big Boots will ensure the selection is kept honest while Adam Tiler should also something to offer in resistance. Newcomers Li Kui and Prince Of Rome look to have potential.
