Sea The Stars filly improved at a rate of knots on the AW over the winter, combination of 1m4f trip and testing ground may have done for her at Cork last month back on turf in Listed contest. Career-best required now.
Navan maiden winner over a mile in October 2016, improved throughout last season, without winning, often going close in Group/Listed company. Up in trip for return and respected fresh.
Ran a stormer at Naas on reappearance in Group 3 company over this trip in. She could have more to offer this season as a four-year-old and she's of interest here as a former C&D winner.
Galileo filly was a Listed winner over 1m at Navan last season, shaped as if needing the run when fading in 1m2f Listed contest back there last month (favourite) and no shock if she leaves that behind.
7f Leopardstown maiden winner in July last year, well fended off on return last month at Navan (1m2f, yielding to soft) and looks least likely of Ballydoyle trio in this line-up.
Fastnet Rock filly, half-sister to a winner and dam a half-sister to a Listed winner. Could hardly have been more impressive when winning at Leopardstown last month in a nice looking maiden. Should improve and still entered in Irish Oaks.
Forecasts
Jaega (1/1), Bye Bye Baby (11/4), Panstarr (13/2), I'm So Fancy (8/1), Clear Skies (10/1), Easter Lily (20/1)
Bye Bye Baby was backed on reappearance but seemed in need of the run, fading from the front in a most un-Ballydoyle manner. She should be able to leave that running well behind. Stablemate Clear Skies should do better dropped in trip but needs a career-best to land this. I'm So Fancy repeatedly runs well in decent company without winning, and might settle for something similar now while Panstarr is a former C&D winner and ran a stormer at Naas on reappearance in Group 3. JAEGA is very exciting based on her debut and could be anything, the choice to send her into this company on second start is heeded.
- Jaega
- Bye Bye Baby
- Panstarr
