Consistent sort that struggled off a 5lb higher mark at Bangor (2m4½f, good to soft) three weeks ago. Drops back in trip today but may not be easy to give weight away all round.
Hasn't yet lived up to his purchase price (£200,000) but chances are he will been seen to better effect now in handicaps. Rider takes off a handy 5lbs here and is a strong contender.
Form has tailed off badly since winning a handicap chase on New Years Day including mostly over reduced hurdles mark. Needs switch back to fences to spark him back in to life but recent runs have been poor.
Won a beginners chase at Sligo over 2m5f back in August and has run well several times since. Whilst this trip is maybe a touch short of her best, the return to better ground should help and is not discounted.
Finished off 2017 in sparkling form winning a maiden hurdle and a handicap chase at Tipperary. Career high mark to contend with but has been given a six month break and every chance that progress can be continued.
Having dropped in the weights he found a good opportunity when bolting up at Tramore (2m, heavy) last time. 8lb rise is not insurmountable on old form and a player once again if in the same mood.
Gained a first win over fences when winning a seven runner race at Fairyhouse in February. Disappointed on handicap debut at Kilbeggan 1o days ago. Takes a drop in trip today.
Won a 2m2f handicap chase off a mark off 88 at Thurles when last seen in October. 6lbs higher now and has been off the track for seven months. Fitness needs to be taken on trust but not the obvious type to follow up.
Showed very little at the back end of 2017 and it is hard to be confident on what we will see on return from a six month break. Best watched for now.

Forecasts
Monbeg Chit Chat (10/3), Dont Kick Nor Bite (7/2), Well Joey (5/1), Joxer (6/1), Fenlon's Hill (8/1), Samson Bill (8/1), Crocodile Dundee (10/1), Shrewdoperator (10/1), Grey Mountain Mist (16/1), Bakers Street (16/1), Capture The Drama (33/1)
A market move for Capture The Drama back over fences should be noted despite his recent poor form over hurdles. Joxer and Samson Bill are both players if putting their best foot forward. We will take a chance on MONBEG CHIT CHAT coming good on handicap debut. His rider takes off a handy 5lbs and connections will be disappointed if he doesn’t prove better than this mark.
- Monbeg Chit Chat
- Joxer
- Samson Bill
