Has underperformed on the AW in the past and neither of his runs this year are close to the standard which has earned him his current BHA rating.
Hold up performer who requires luck in running and who encountered trouble and was left with too much to do last time. Capable of defying this mark and maintaining his excellent AW strike rate (8-24).
All four career victories have come on AW surfaces, the latest coming at Lingfield on AW Championship Day. That takes him to a career high mark, but with many of his rivals facing a similar problem he cannot be written off.
Course specialist who has improved greatly during the winter and is now not far off Listed class. Tactically versatile and well-drawn if regular pilot opts to make the running.
Won twice on the AW at the start of his career in 2016 but not won since. Hard to imagine he has the pace to mix it with some of these.
Not easy to win with nowadays and he has won just one of his last 36 races. Down in the weights but hard to be confident about his prospects.
Goodwood specialist who has been running over further lately. Has a stiff task at the weights in a grade where he has failed to make the frame in three previous attempts.
Eight-time winner who likes Lingfield and is yet to win here. Now 1lb above his last winning mark but he probably needs too much to fall right in order to score.

Forecasts
Lucymai (3/1), Take The Helm (7/2), Eljaddaaf (7/2), Qaffaal (4/1), War Glory (5/1), Squats (6/1), Suzi's Connoisseur (10/1), Shyron (20/1), Noble Peace (33/1)
A few of these like to come from off the pace and require luck in running. Shyron, Eljaddaaf and Qaffaal fall into that category and all would be capable if fortune smiles on them. LUCYMAI is more straightforward and continues to thrive. A draw in stall one gives her regular rider tactical options. Take The Helm is an AW specialist and rates best of the rest.
