Twice a winner at shorter here and possibly open to more improvement on an AW surface, however well beaten on both starts so far this year.

Set a stiff task in a warm novice race and now makes handicap debut. Definite possibilities now up in trip with top amateur rider booked.

Front running veteran who came back to form last time. Winning form has come at shorter and possibly needs further help from the handicapper.

Good hurdler who remains a maiden on the Flat but an opening win shouldn't be far away. Excuses last twice in this sphere when not getting a clear run and then unsuited by tactical race. Looks to be plenty of pace here which will suit.

Three poor runs since joining current trainer and while he is dropping in the weights is best watched at present.

Back on a feasible mark but can be hard to catch right and needs to bounce back from disappointing over a distance he's unproven over.

Had shown little for some time before bouncing back with win in AW seller. Form nothing special and more required up in grade and trip.

Maiden but has suggested a win should be withing his grasp in two promising runs for respected trainer both at this track. Hit the line strongly both times with suggestion there is more improvement to come at this distance.

Possibly needed the run here last start and still looked as though he is learning the game. More improvement to come than most of his rivals and should be competitive.

Forecasts

City Dreamer (10/3), Air Ministry (7/2), Sheriff Garrett (7/2), Doesyourdogbite (4/1), Three Colours Red (7/1), Full Suit (10/1), Casemates Square (12/1), Brigadoon (18/1), Ladurelli (18/1), Ballyfarsoon (22/1), Hewouldwouldnthe (40/1), Party Royal (40/1), Down Time (40/1)

Verdict

Casemates Square, Air Ministry and Full Suit are open to more progress than many of these exposed rivals and all three should be competitive in a race lacking depth. There looks to be plenty of speed on the front end and that could play into the strengths of CITY DREAMER who has been crying out for a true test of stamina in his last two Flat starts and can now transfer some smart hurdling form.
  1. City Dreamer
  2. Air Ministry
  3. Casemates Square
