Returned from wind surgery a very decisive 18L course winner (2m2f heavy) last month. That was just his second start over hurdles, and his pedigree implies he'll be fine over this longer trip. Penalised on vastly different ground.
Shaped okay when fifth on debut in an Ayr bumper (2m heavy) in November; fourth placed The Great Getaway is a Newcastle hurdles winner. Stable in solid form, so interesting to see how he adapts to life over hurdles.
Group 1 Flat winner in 2014 (2m4f Prix du Cadran), and beaten just two necks by Dartmouth in the Group 2 Yorkshire Cup this time last year. Switches to hurdles very late aged ten, but an intriguing new recruit.
Not made much of an impression over hurdles so far (three starts), and has also had plenty of time between his races. Doesn't appear entirely straightforward, and has little chance.
Half-brother to various winners in France, including Blue Ballad (1m4f Flat/2m1f hurdle). Not shown any obvious ability in bumpers (turf and Tapeta), and makes his hurdles debut this afternoon.
Started a three figure odds on both starts over hurdles. A similar scenario is predicted here; impossible to consider.
Bargain basement buy who has done well enough so far for her Otterburn based handler. Beaten just 4L by the idling/reluctant Bob Mahler at Wetherby in March (3m soft), she will be winning races; just most probably handicaps.
Stablemate of Hills Of Connemara. Shown little to work with in bumpers or over hurdles in four career starts. Likely back number.

Calix Delafayette (1/1), High Jinx (2/1), Hills Of Connemara (7/2), Cathal's Star (8/1), Templenaboe (33/1), Russiantom (66/1), Reaplee (66/1), Ella's Dene (100/1), Painters Lad (100/1)
HIGH JINX makes a belated introduction over hurdles, which probably implies that his connections believe that he has little else too offer on the Flat. However, his ability isn't in doubt (Group 1 winner at Longchamp in 2014), and he should have conditions in his favour here; 2m4f on a flat track on decent ground. If he takes to obstacles well, he will have far too much ability for the recent course winner (2m2f) Calix Delafayette. The James Ewart trained gelding has done all of his racing thus far on soft to heavy ground.
