Consistent at a modest level on the AW, winnng twice, but was less effective on turf last season. Has a point to prove and may struggle.

Fairly disappointing overall last term but wind surgery appeared to make a real difference when winning here on seasonal return last week. Carries 6lb penalty but is a potential danger to all if in the same form.

Ordinary first season in which she didn't trouble the judge, but showed speed here on return last month and not overburdened on first handicap outing. Worth checking for any market move.

Apprentice ridden when fifth of 15 here last month, showing plenty of dash until tiring. Champion jockey takes over now and has fine record for yard so has to come into the reckoning on that basis.

Has shown very little in five starts to date, never threatening to reach a place. Yard in fair form and jockey booking does catch the eye so there may be some improvement on the cards.

Has generally struggled to get home in races between 5f-7f and hard to see her bucking that trend although this is a modest event. Others make more appeal.

Looked moderate last term and never troubled the judge. Best efforts came with plenty of give in the ground so forecast quicker conditions look against him. Hard to enthuse over.

Forecasts

Cent Flying (11/10), Baileys Excel (3/1), Glamorous Rocket (5/1), Spot Lite (9/1), Rio Santos (12/1), Inuk (14/1), Comselle (25/1)

Verdict

CENT FLYING did it well when winning here last week on his first start since a wind operation and if in a similar mood looks up to defying his 6lb penalty. Baileys Excel could be the main danger after catching the eye on his return and with Silvestre de Sousa now taking over, while top weight Inuk is not without hope either. Glamorous Rocket is also worth some consideration and a glance at the market is advised.
  1. Cent Flying
