Speedily bred €30,000 son of Zebedee who represents a yard with a fine record at this track and which has been in tremendous form with its juveniles so far this campaign. Looks a serious contender on debut.
35,000 guineas son of Alhebayeb shaped with prmise on debut at Pontefract a fortnight ago, staying on nicely into third. More to come and should be very much on the premises with that experience to draw on.
Yearling sale price dropped from €10,000 to £1,000 when resold last month. Yard's few runners have performed well so despite alarming purchase price and market interest might be worth noting for this son of Alhebayeb.
Cheaply bought (£4,500) son of Arcano finished last of four on debut at Brighton after showing some early speed. This looks much tougher so appears to be up against it.
35,000 guineas son of Swiss Spirit represents good yard. Dam won over extended mile as a 2yo so this may be plenty sharp enough on debut but is respected and may not be too far away.
£30,000 Sepoy colt whose dam is a half-sister to an Irish 1000 Guineas runner-up. Showed up well for a long way until weakening a furlong out on debut at HQ and will know more now. Has to come into the reckoning.
£31,000 daughter of Gale Force Ten who was a smart and speedy juvenile in 2013. Unraced dam is from family of top sprinter Lochsong. Fourth at Wolverhampton on debut was a respectable effort. Wears first-time hood here.
£23,000 daughter of Sir Prancealot and is a half-sister to four individual winners. Top yard do well here and have fine record with juveniles so appears to fit the bill. Likely to be very much on the premises.
Swiss Spirit filly looked backward on racecourse bow at Newmarket but wasn't disgraced. Better for that run and champion jockey on board now so connections appear hopeful of an improved display.

Ginger Nut (7/4), Five Amarones (7/2), Barbill (5/1), Treasure Quest (11/2), Cloud Seeding (8/1), Swiss Pride (20/1), Swiss Miss (22/1), Max Guevara (33/1), Clevedon (33/1), One One Seven (50/1)
There might be one or two fair sorts in this race but TREASURE QUEST is the choice having hinted at a fair level of ability on his debut at Newmarket last month. Five Amarones could be a danger after finishing a promising third on debut, while Ginger Nut looks the part on paper and should know her job on this racecourse bow. Barbill is another likely type, while any market interest in either Swiss Pride or Cloud Seeding would be noteworthy.
- Treasure Quest
- Five Amarones
- Barbill
