ASCOT DE BRUYERE was an impressive winner at Newcastle last time and provided the he doesn't "bounce" here three weeks on from that success, he will be hard to beat from a workable handicap mark in this sphere. Fresh New Dawn is certainly respected on first try on what will likely be better ground. Any market support for Volcanic should be taken seriously on first start since a wind operation.
