Possibly hasn't come on quite as well from his debut in bumpers on two subsequent starts but still has ability. Makes his hurdles debut here and won't be a surprise to see him put up a good display.

Showed very little sent hurdling after wind surgery although he was given a stiff task on that occasion (started 100/1). Should have more to offer now eased considerably in grade.
Form of his Doncaster novice hurdle second has been well advertised already (four next time out winners). Looks to be going the right way over hurdles and holds strong form claims here in a bid to break his hurdling maiden.

Shaped as though he needed the run on his only outing so far in a Plumpton bumper. Now goes hurdling for the first time in what looks to be a fairly modest affair.

Renwick86
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton
7/2
Offered plenty to work on from his only run so far despite taking a fairly wide course throughout in a Kempton bumper. That was over 2m and he looks as though he'll appreciate a stiffer test in time.

100/1
Took five attempts to get off the mark in Irish point-to-points but made a fairly uninspiring start to her career under Rules. Made little impression in a heavy ground bumper here and others make more appeal.

Forecasts

Doux Pretender (1/3), Renwick (7/2), Barley Hill (10/1), Cuddles Mcgraw (20/1), In The Pipeline (40/1), Oldtown Polly (100/1)

Verdict

The standard set by DOUX PRETENDER is hard to match here and with his Doncaster form having been well franked he’s hard to overlook here. Renwick may well need a stiffer test in time but he looks to have ability and he should be able to make the frame here. Barley Hill is another hurdling debutante and he too has shown that he has ability and he should be able to make his mark also.
  1. Doux Pretender
  2. Renwick
  3. Barley Hill
