Two second placed finishes in similar races to this so far, including once over C&D. Should be capable of capturing a contest at this level on that evidence.
No Nay Never colt who cost £90,000 as a yearling. A half-brother to the useful El Tren and this yard often do well with juveniles. In with a chance on debut.
Not at lot went right for him went sent off favourite for his debut run at Kempton last time out. Interesting now switched to turf and will almost certainly improve markedly for the run.
Not everything went right during (and before) his debut effort at Newcastle including when he briefly broke loose prior to the race. A more professional performance can be expected this time round.
Well-beaten on debut at Thirsk last time, and even if improving for the run she seems unlikely to be able to keep tabs on the best of these.
Forecasts
Dixieland (2/1), Broken Spear (5/2), Murqaab (11/4), Cosmic Law (8/1), Ninetythreetwenty (12/1), Mark's Choice (20/1), Lady Lavinia (25/1)
Broken Spear has finished twice already including over C&D and should run well again but DIXIELAND is clearly much better than he showed on debut given he raced keenly and was hampered. He was sent off favourite for that and should be able to go much closer this time round. Of the newcomers, Cosmic Law looks the likeliest to go well on debut.
