One or two decent efforts over hurdles during the winter, but was well beaten on his recent return to the Flat at Windsor. Has to step up on that display off 3lb lower.
Fair efforts on the AW since the turn of the year without getting his head in front. Feasibly handicapped on his return to turf and should not be too far away.
Fair efforts on last two starts over 2m at Kempton. Back on grass off a slightly lower handicap rating, but last summer''s win at this course came over 1m2f so stamina is an issue on testing ground.
Pulled up when last seen over hurdles at Exeter in November and has undergone wind surgery since. Flat handicap mark is fair and, as a C&D winner, he has prospects if the breathing operation has been a success.
Solid effort to be second in a handicap hurdle at this track recently and also ran well on the Flat off 2lb lower at Kempton in March. Represents a top jumps yard and could improve for the fitting of a tongue tie.
Not disgraced, but ultimately well held, when fourth in two AW contests since his return from a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Handicap mark needs to fall a little more.
Good effort to be third of eight at Salisbury on Monday. Runs off the same mark, but only win came over 1m6f and this distance might be stretching her stamina.
Forecasts
Fitzwilly (11/4), Unblinking (3/1), Ocean Gale (4/1), Quids In (5/1), Rahmah (6/1), Our Folly (14/1), Travis Bickle (25/1)
Fitzwilly can go well off this mark and is preferred to Rahmah and Ocean Gale, for whom stamina may be a problem, but the choice is UNBLINKING, who has been in good form for his top jumps stable and is fitted with a tongue tie for the first time. Our Folly is interesting after undergoing wind surgery.
