Never a factor at Bath (5f, good) recently on return from a break, appearing as if in need of the outing. Not without a hope up in trip over a C&D where he's run well before.

First start since having wind surgery came at Ripon (6f, soft) last month. Unfancied in the market and beaten just under 9L. Improvement demanded here.

Forecasts

Gowanbuster (7/2), Gangland (4/1), Charles Fox (5/1), Knockout Blow (13/2), Snaffled (7/1), Havana Star (9/1), Tember (12/1), Citron Major (16/1), Moonlit Sands (33/1)

Verdict

SNAFFLED produced his best effort to date when scoring over C&D in February, he's deemed a likely improver again and is capable of the follow up. Charles Fox seems the chief threat, having come from the off the pace to win over 7f at Kempton when last spotted. Gowanbuster and Gangland have chances of getting in the shake-up.
