Has taken a massive fall in the weights and looked as though he still retained some ability in an AW 0-60 handicap on his first run for this yard. Didn't live up to that promise over a mile here last time and hard to build a case for.

No stranger to running here with two course wins to his name (one over C&D) and ran with credit on his return to action last time (without usual headgear). Cheekpieces now return and he's slipped just below his last winning mark.

4/15 over C&D he's run better than of late in his last two starts but can spoil his chance by starting slowly. 6lb below his last winning mark now and dangerous if a return to this track sparks him back to life.

His overall profile is a little patchy with his last win coming on Fibresand over 6f. Ran no sort of race on his return from a 90-day break last time and he looks to have a little to prove at present.

Did well on his return from a break at a time when his yard was going well having dropped to a handy mark. His last two runs have failed to build on that promise he showed on that occasion though; drops to a career-low mark.

Looked as though he would be one to be interested in after his penultimate run when he didn't get the run of the race on the AW at Lingfield. Not in the same form next time (started favourite) and the losing run continues to mount.

Two starts here have failed to impress he did well to bounce back from a couple of poor efforts last time on the AW helped by coming off a strong pace. Raised 4lb for that win the chances are he will need a strongly-run race to be seen at his best.

Last win back in 2016 came here off a mark of 65 over 7f but the recent stable change can be viewed as a positive and he looks very well handicapped on his old form. Last two runs have shown promise and he's respected; could do with a longer trip.

Won here over 2f further nearly a year ago and shaped with credit on his comeback run on the AW last time out. Raced a little freely and made his effort a little too early but another to note off his lowly mark.

Yet to win a race and for the most part has finished well held in his races. Took a small step in the right direction last time but not one to be too interested in.

Hard to find any solid form for this one and not really one to be interested in on her 4th run in a handicap.

Has been running over hurdles of late without any success and his Flat form isn't any better. Would be a surprise winner here given what he has shown so far.

Verdict

This is only a low-grade contest but it may well give WITH APPROVAL a chance to record another C&D win as he’s slipped nicely in the weights and the headgear worn for his last win returns. Bloodsweatandtears is well into the veteran stage now but he to has fallen to a mark that he ought to be able to perform off and he has run this track well in the past. Sir Jamie hasn’t performed that well on two previous runs here and he’ll need a very strongly-run race to be seen at his best. False Id also looks well handicapped on his old form although he’s probably better over further. Master Of Heaven is the other one to note and he would have a chance if he settles better this time around.
  1. With Approval
  2. False Id
  3. Sir Jamie
