Has his first run under Flat rules here but started off in bumpers/novice hurdles. Easily his best run came in a jumpers' bumper last time and he's interesting here on that form following a wind op.

Down in trip from debut effort at Dundalk last time; has since joined this yard but needs to improve on that effort to play a hand here.

Back down to this trip having run fairly well at Wolverhampton last time. Probably not up to winning this based on what she's shown so far.

Sea The Stars colt who cost 24,000gns as a foal. A half-brother to a winner over 6f but rest of his pedigree suggests plenty of stamina.

Al Kazeem colt out of a half-sister to Group 2 winner Somehow. Makes some appeal on pedigree and worth a market check.

Two solid efforts in novice company so far, and though he didn't show much progression between those two runs that level of form should be enough to see him go close here.

Didn't show any particular improvement when stepping up to this trip at this course last time, but shaped as if there could be more to come there.

Should be able to improve on his debut effort at Newbury last time, especially with the step up in trip, but will need to in order to get competitive in this.

Al Kazeem gelding who has stamina enough on the dam's side to suggest he should be able to perform over this trip on debut.

Last of all on debut at Lingfield last time and steps back in trip here; others hold more convincing claims.

Nathaniel colt who is a half-brother to a couple of winners over various trips. Draw is fine; market check is advised.

Down the field in two novice events so far; needs a first-time hood to have a very positive impact on turf debut.

Verdict

Definition has run to a fair level in two starts so far, but SHALL WE GO NOW seemed to have taken a real step forward when second in a jumpers' bumper at Kempton last time out and having had wind surgery since should go well here provided he can prove he has the pace needed for this shorter trip. Of the newcomers Al Emarat appeals most.
