Made a winning debut at Lingfield (1m, AW) before slightly unfortunate defeat when hampered on second start. Found life tough in Listed event at Newcastle latest and this much more to his liking.
Beautifully bred son of Frankel. Shaped on all starts last year that a step up to this trip would suit. Opening mark looks very attractive and comes here with significant potential on handicap debut.
Appeared to be in need of the experience on his four starts in 2017. Sires progeny tend to improve with age and this step up in trip looks a good move. Will need to improve to take a hand.
Showed bits and pieces of promise on three starts last year. Likely there will be more to come this year but in against a couple of very promising types.
Forecasts
First Eleven (6/4), De Medici (10/3), Nebuchadnezzar (10/3), Westbrook Bertie (7/2)
Only four runners but all have potential to be better than their current marks. Clear preference though is for FIRST ELEVEN who is a beautifully bred son of Frankel who is expected to take this on route to much better things. De Medici may chase the selection home.
