Well deserved win following a fast start to the season and will be having his fourth run here since the end of last month. 6lb higher for his success at Naas and another bold show likely.
C&D winner when last seen here in October last year. Popular and game veteran always runs his races and goes well fresh. One for the shortlist.
Dual winner on the AW at Dundalk since the turn of the year but well beaten on his last two turf starts last season. Still races off a 4lb higher mark than last win and looks vulnerable in this company.
Modest 93-rated Flat handicapper for Marco Botti and with a win in five starts on turf. Moves to a top yard and worth a market check on stable debut.
Course winner here over 5f beating nine rivals over 5f on heavy ground earlier this month. Up 7lb for his effort but clearly in good heart right now.
A solid sprinter on his day, winning twice at Hamilton during the course of last summer over 6f on good to soft ground. Interesting British raider.
From the yard of Manshood winner of the Listed Pavilion stakes at Ascot in May 2013 when with Richard Hannon. Regressed since and hard to fancy.
Ex John Gosden finished fourth of six on turf debut earlier this month in a Naas 6f handicap. Will need to improve to figure.
Not disgraced last Spring including finishing third of 15 on seasonal debut in a Cork handicap last April before form tailed off in the late summer. One to watch in the early part of the season.
Can be given a chance on the best of his British form from current mark and earlier this month at Leopardstown though has had some chances on the AW at Dundalk since joining this yard. Worth a market check in first-time blinkers.
Gelded since last appearance finishing 10th of 14 at Dundalk on the AW in November. Went well fresh at Cork last season and one for the shortlist.
80-rated handicapper for trainer David Marnane managing two wins from 11 Flat turf starts. Market likely to reveal expectations on debut for top NH yard.
No extra over 1f out on seasonal debut here over 1m earlier this month when finishing seventh of eight. Looks a tall order on overall form shown.
Forecasts
G Force (4/1), Alcatraz (5/1), Master Speaker (6/1), Omran (6/1), Sors (7/1), Ninjago (10/1), Ice Cold In Alex (10/1), Markhan (12/1), Manshood (14/1), Maarek (14/1), Mokhalad (20/1), Amanaat (25/1), The Mcgregornator (25/1)
Sors and British raider Manshood look to be the pair to attempt to get to the lead here in the early stages which could make it interesting for the other Paul Midgely representative Ninjago who will be looking to make late progress with the former David O'Meara once 118-rated G Force and the evergreen MAAREK who was a C&D winner here in October off a 3lb higher mark.
- Maarek
- Ninjago
- G Force
