Fair handicapper who won twice last year but failed to take advantage of what was at the time a career-low mark on his last two starts. Now dropped to a mark of 60 (new low) as he starts back from a break (took a few starts to get going last year).
Has looked as though she is feasibly treated off this sort of mark with 6f her most suitable trip. Shaped well last time out on the AW (travelled well) when grabbing a minor place and may be able to put her fitness to good use here.
Likes to go from the front and did too much too soon from that position over 5f last time and will be better back over this 6f. A C&D winner he should be capable off this mark but does remain 8lb above his last winning one.
Well below form when last seen on the AW he's not run on turf since last summer but does gave a rather in-and-out profile overall. 2lb above his last winning mark here he has won off a break before but he doesn't look one to rely on.
Looks to have regressed having been a fairly useful performer in 2016 but made very little impact last year. Quickly dropped in the handicap but needs to show that he still retains some ability first.
Had a very consistent season last time around despite only winning once and it's hard to knock her consistency. She goes well with cut in the ground although she's generally needed the run after a break and may be better for the run here.
Scored on a rare visit to the AW at the end of last year off this very mark but hasn't looked in any sort of form since on the same surface. It may well be that a return to turf may suit better but needs to show more spark before being supported.
Previously with David O'Meara this lightly-raced sort is making just her second handicap start for a new yard back from a break. Has quite a nice sprint pedigree for all that she's not shown much so far and may well be capable of more.
Not seen since she won a Brighton handicap (made all) back in the autumn with headgear (worn today) back on. She didn't look the type to follow-up then and off a 6lb higher mark with an absence to contend with others are preferred now.
Fibresand and 5f were not an ideal combination for his return run and he also looked as though he needed the run. His sole win came over 6f so he'll be happier back at this trip although his form figures on turf are far from appealing.
First run back from wind surgery he ran very poorly last year including when being tried in a tongue-tie. Had won a couple of races the year before and has sunk well below those marks making his return to action here.
Took an age to get off the mark but finally did so when scoring at Catterick in October (6f, soft). Looked ideally suited by the strong gallop there staying on well and will need a similar scenario here to score on his return to action.

Forecasts
Redrosezorro (13/2), Unnoticed (13/2), Hadley (7/1), Naples Bay (7/1), Semana Santa (8/1), Melaniemillie (8/1), Racquet (9/1), Rebel Heart (10/1), Kroy (12/1), Captain Bond (16/1), Allux Boy (16/1), Star Cracker (20/1), Seebring (25/1), Yorkshire Rover (33/1)
The eight race card ends with another involved test to solve for punters with a big-field low grade sprint as the finale. Hadley has won over this C&D in the past and looks of interest although his mark looks a rather stiff one now. SEMANA SANTA might not be ideally drawn but she could put her fitness to good use here having already had an outing this year where she shaped with promise. Melaniemillie is a likeable type and she may well come on for this run with Captain Bond one to note with a view to a market move and better to come this season.
- Semana Santa
- Captain Bond
- Hadley
