Put his experience to good use when getting off the mark over 7f on the AW but hardly needed to improve on what he had already done. Now returns from a break for a new yard but looks vulnerable under a penalty.
Ran just the twice for Tom Dascombe starting favourite on his debut but looking as though he needed the experience and failed to build on that on his only other run. Now with a new yard and gelded; probably one for handicaps.
Far too green to show anything on his debut last year over 6f finishing well held on his only start. Looks like he will need time and more experience to show any progress.
Brother to the smart sprinter Perfect Pasture and a half-brother to a 5f winner out of a dam who won up to 6f. Quite speedily bred therefore and this mile might stretch him on his debut.
Price dropped dramatically to £800 as a three-year-old despite some useful relations on his dams side. Likely to need this run though and others more likely.
Inexperienced on debut he showed very little over 7f in testing conditions and even less on his second run. Low-grade handicaps look to be his best hope.
Looks to be of interest given his pedigree by New Approach with the dam having been at winner at beyond a mile. Yard do quite well with this sort but do have a modest first time out record.
Formerly with Archie Watson he made a good start with his new yard by producing a sound effort at Doncaster (7f, heavy). Kept on well having forced the pace and should be able to build on that here.
Very highly tried on all bar his debut last year running well in two Group races over 7f but looking as though he could do with an ease in grade to get off the mark. Gets that here for a new yard and sets the standard on his form of last year.
Showed some promise on her only run so far which came over 7f on the AW late last year. Now makes her turf debut stepped up in trip and should progress.
Headgear worn for her debut is retained here and she did run very green on her initial start before running on late. Should be suited by this trip and may be able to progress given she should have more scope.
Forecasts
Zaaki (8/11), New Graduate (4/1), Pacific Fleet (6/1), Fresh Terms (8/1), I'm Yer Man (14/1), Carlton Thomas (20/1), Holy Wings (33/1), Harlequin Dancer (33/1), Kenmare River (50/1), Allnite (50/1), Bayelsa Boy (66/1)
Now with a much more powerful stable it shouldn’t be forgotten the level that ZAAKI was able to reach as a juvenile and he sets the standard here and deserves to win a race after those efforts last year. Plenty of the others are really running for handicap marks and there shouldn’t be many capable of getting involved here with I’m Yer Man looking to have a tough task under a penalty. That means that the main dangers are likely to come via Pacific Fleet and Fresh Terms who should both improve on what they have accomplished so far.
- Zaaki
- Pacific Fleet
- Fresh Terms
