Kitten's Joy filly, cost $130,000 as a yearling. Dam an AW winner over a mile. Ran a fine race here on debut, shaping well before tiring late to finish third of 14. Yard in form and likely to improve on return.
Camelot filly, dam a half-sister to Listed winner over this trip. Improved from her debut to finish fifth of 13 here when last seen, outpaced a little in the closing stages. May do better here over this longer trip. Entered in the Oaks.
Elusive Pimpernel filly, dam a winner of both Oaks and Irish Oaks. Plenty to like about her pedigree but yard's runners can need the experience on debut. Any market support worth noting.
Camelot filly, cost €60,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to a Hong Kong winner and dam an unraced half-sister to a Group-placed Alo Pura. Showed very little on debut, hood removed and may do better.
Dansili filly, half-sister to a winner and dam a Listed winner over a mile. Yard's seasonal returners have been forward this year and trainer does well with his fillies. Showed nothing on debut at Nottingham in October though and needs to improve.
Camelot filly, cost 155,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a Listed winner over this trip and half-sister to Listed winner. Showed promise on debut and came on for that in her second run over 1m here. Should improve now upped in trip and entered in Oaks.
Fastnet Rock filly, half-sister to Derby winner Harzand as well as three more pattern level performers. Dam a Group 3 winner. Shaped nicely over 1m here on debut when third of 13 and likely to improve. Entered in Oaks and Irish Oaks.
Declaration Of War filly, dam a winner and half-sister to two Group 3 winners and a Listed winner. Yard not synonymous with winning newcomers but can't be dismissed if there's any market support for her.
Dubawi filly, dam a winner and a half-sister to Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass. Showed very little on debut but better at Lingfield earlier in the month. Needs to pull out more here but bred to be smart.
Dubawi filly, full-sister to Group 3 winner So Mi Dar and dam a Group 1 winner over middle distances and a half-sister to three Group 1 winners. Fascinating debutantes for a yard that can ready one and yard won this last year. Entered in Oaks.
Oasis Dream filly, half-sister to a winner over this trip and dam a Group 3 winner over middle distances. Didn't really improve for her debut at Kempton last time. Needs to improve plenty on those two efforts here.
Footstepsinthesand filly, half-sister to three winners and dam a full-sister to two Group winners over middle distances. Yard's debutantes respected but this looks like a hot race and others make more appeal.
Camelot filly, cost 60,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to three winners and dam a winner and a half-sister to Group 3 winner who was dam of Kingston Hill. Well beaten and green here on debut and needs to leave that form behind in first-time hood.
Dubawi filly, half-sister to two Group winners and dam a Group 3 winner and half-sister to Listed winner. Yard's debutantes worthy of plenty of respect and trainer in fine form. Market may reveal expectations. Entered in 1,000 Guineas.
Forecasts
Lah Ti Dar (7/2), White Light (7/2), Arcadian Cat (9/2), Hazarfiya (9/2), Expensive Liaison (8/1), Juneau (16/1), Arendelle (20/1), Quicksand (25/1), Belle De Neige (25/1), Pink Phantom (50/1), Bossiney Bay (66/1), Eden Rose (66/1), Invincible Peace (66/1), Thresholdofadream (100/1)
A contest that looks sure to produce plenty of future winners and it's the full-sister to Derby winner Harzand that makes most appeal. HAZARFIYA shaped with plenty of promise on debut here and she can put that experience to good use with improvement expected. Expensive Liaison is another that will improve for a greater test of stamina but Lah Ti Dar has to be considered the main danger to the selection give her pedigree and the yard's record in this race.
- Hazarfiya
- Lah Ti Dar
- Expensive Liaison
