Off the mark at Nottingham last time and carries a penalty for that success, but had progressed nicely from his first start and may be able to improve again to be competitive in this.
Debut winner at Newcastle last month when beating a fancied Godolphin horse. If transferring that form to turf he would have to have a chance under the same jockey.
Improved on his second start at Lingfield last time when shaping as if there should be further improvement to come in time. This longer trip may help, too.
Never a factor when finishing last, beaten 58L, on debut at Kempton last time (sent off 50/1). Difficult to see him bouncing back from that poor effort to play a part here.
Didn't run as well as his form figure suggests when third last time (a long way back in a five runner race) and needs marked improvement now running over a very similar trip.
Cityscape gelding who is a half-brother to the Listed-placed Kallisha. Worth a check in the market for this debut run considering that pedigree.
Placed in a couple of maiden/novice events (including when narrowly beaten favourite last time out). The form of those isn't necessarily the strongest but he has shown he can go well in similar races to this.
Forecasts
Sevenna Star (8/11), King's Proctor (4/1), Morning Skye (9/2), Ishallak (10/1), Fleeting Fame (40/1), Atomic Jack (40/1), Childe Harold (125/1)
The previous winners King's Proctor and Morning Skye have both proven they can be competitive in these races and could defy their respective penalties to have a hand in this, but the suggestion is SEVENNA STAR. Though not too many subsequent winners have come out of the two races he's been placed in so far, he ran very well on both of those occasions and should be hitting the frame at the very least once again here for his leading trainer.
- Sevenna Star
- King's Proctor
- Morning Skye
