Teofilo colt, dam was a winner and half-sister to Novis Adventus. Created a taking impression on debut at the Curragh but didn't back that up when last seen, here in July. May do better now and any market support should be noted.
Dream Ahead colt, cost €17,000 as a foal and resold for €11,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to two winners and dam was a sprint winner and half-sister to a 2,000 Guineas runner-up. May not have the stamina for this test.

Camelot colt, cost €240,000 as a yearling. Green on debut here in October but stayed on well and likely to do better now. Wears a first-time tongue-tie.

Blame colt, half-brother to three winners (two on dirt) and dam a half-sister to two Listed winners. One to watch in the market on debut.

Camelot colt cost 170,000 gns as a foal, dam an unraced sister to smart 1m2f-2m winner Mahler. Green on debut at Naas in November but represents leading connections and every chance he's improved over the winter. Warrants respect.

Footstepsinthesand gelding, half-brother to Listed sprint winner and dam a Group 3 winner. Too green on debut but showed promise. Very disappointing when last seen at Roscommon though, hanging left in the straight. Needs to improve.

Forecasts

Gardens of Babylon (9/10), Khalaab (9/2), Change Of Velocity (9/2), Sir Erec (5/1), A Smooth Criminal (16/1), Song Of Dunes (20/1), Country Market (50/1)

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien won this two years ago and GARDENS OF BABYLON and Sir Eric give him solid claims of winning this year's renewal. Slight preference is for the former given the way he stayed on and a first-time tongue-tie may see him improve. Change Of Velocity has experience on his side and may prove best of the rest.
