€23,000 yearling by Clodovil. Half-brother to six winners including 1m½f US Grade Three winner No Explaining. Well held at Naas (7f, good to soft) on sole start last year.
Deep Impact colt out of 6f two-year old Group 3 winner. Went close in 7f maiden here on second start in October. Blinkers added now for powerful trainer and jockey team.
Dream Ahead colt has in-form champion jockey on board and the Lyons string are off to a fine start this term. One to note in betting.
Elusive Quality gelding, makes racecourse for Jessica Harrington and likely to come on for the experience.
Dark Angel colt who cost £50,000 as a yearling. Not the worst pedigree but well held last month on debut at Naas, up significantly in trip this time.
Maxios colt cost €150,000 as a foal, closely related to useful 1m2f winner La Luna de Miel. Represents respected yard on debut.
An unfancied 33/1 chance in 1m maidens at the Curragh and Naas either side of winter break, never really threatening to make significant impact. Hard to make case for.
Well held in pair of sprint maidens at Fairyhouse (6f, heavy) and Dundalk (5f, AW) last year, significant change in direction now over this trip but surely going to be outclassed by a few of these.
Disappointing favourite in 1m2f maiden at Cork recently, having shown promise on AW bow previously. Down in trip with a visor added, retains potential if coping with the forecast ground.
Filly by Kalanisi out of a Presenting mare related to 79-rated Flat handicapper European Dream and Listed winner Rajik. 50/1 and no threat in AW maiden at Dundalk last month over a mile on debut.
Top stable acquired this Mount Nelson filly for relatively small money, closely related to useful winner Rocky Bleier but perhaps best watched on debut.
Forecasts
Conclusion (15/8), Future Proof (5/2), Kashid (6/1), Zamroudpour (9/1), Lauberhorn Rocket (12/1), Comeragh Haze (16/1), Valkenburg (16/1), A Smooth Criminal (25/1), Aasleagh Fawn (33/1), Kyoodle (40/1), Wavepoint (50/1)
CONCLUSION found only one to good over 7f here in the autumn. The winner looked useful whilst two of those that finished in behind have won since. He looks to have strong claims on his return to action with Ryan Moore up. Debutants Future Proof and Lauberhorn Rocket are worth a look while Zamroudpour should improve dropped back in distance with new headgear on.
