Having shown an aptitude for chasing on her debut at Wetherby despite finishing well held she failed to build on that run at Hereford last time. Her jumping wasn't fluent there and she now wears cheekpieces for the first time; improvement needed.

Took long enough to get off the mark and could have been fortunate for everything to drop into place when winning at Hereford last time winning narrowly. Had very little to spare and although only raised 3lb more is needed.

Not an easy contest to unravel with very few having a blemish free profile and a chance is taken that the break will have done SHINE AWAY good as she returns from whatever ailed her last time having looked one who could be relied on at this level. Bennys Girl makes a long trip North in an attempt to follow-up her slightly fortunate win last time off a 3lb higher mark while Pretty Miss Mahler ought to find this test too sharp on her return to action. Hepburn needs to jump better his time around if she’s to be seen to better effect.
