Upturn in his fortunes appear to have coincided with those of the yard recently and his recent form entitles him to go close in this. His Hexham win came as a surprise but he backed that up with sound second last time out and should go well.

Some of the more exposed sorts have been running well over hurdles and it’s hard to fault the recent form of PC DIXON and he’s proven under these conditions. Princess Mononoke should be thereabouts although this mark doesn’t offer much scope while Strait Run appears to have turned a corner. Hardrock Davis is one with only a few miles on the clock and it won’t be a surprise to see him improve on his past form now he goes into handicaps for the first time.
