Commander Han⁶²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-9| J: K Stott| T: K A Ryan| OR: 90| C

10/11

Cost 400,000 guineas at the Breeze-Ups and a hint of ability subsequently in two starts last season. However left that form completely behind with a demolition job over 7f here. Trip should suit on breeding and sets clear standard.

Form: 94-1

(5)

Narcos^b³⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: T Hamilton| T: R A Fahey| OR: 80

11/1

Hasn't built on debut win but second run can be excused due to heavy ground. Better next start following gelding operation and addition of blinkers (retained) but more required.

Form: 16-2

(2)

Sallab¹⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: L Dettori| T: R Hannon| OR: 85

5/2

Tried at Group level last season and finished with career best when third at Newbury. Struggled to go the pace early on reappearance before late progress in what looked a good race and should make presence felt.

Form: 61023-3

(6)

Houlton^t¹¹³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: M M Monaghan⁽³⁾| T: M Botti

100/1

Slowly away and well beaten in both starts last season and vast improvement required.

Form: 00-

(4)

Mootasadir^h1

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: James Doyle| T: H Palmer

4/1

Debutante by Dansili starting over a realistic distance. Stable yet to fire in early part of the Flat season but market confidence would be a boost.

Sopranos Rock³⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Emma Taff⁽⁷⁾| T: R Hannon

50/1

Showed significant improvement first to second start when showing up well for a long way over this distance at Kempton. Much more required again with inexperienced jockey on board.

Forecasts

Commander Han (10/11), Sallab (5/2), Mootasadir (4/1), Narcos (11/1), Sopranos Rock (50/1), Houlton (100/1)

Sallab was well tried last season and made a decent reappearance at Lingfield that would place him as a major player in a race lacking depth. However COMMANDER HAN will be hard to beat based on a stylish success here on his seasonal reappearance. He finally lived up to his expensive price tag and the extra furlong is only a further plus. First starter Mootasadir should be noted in the betting.
