0/13 so far and is yet to show too much promise. Top weight won't be an easy task here then, even if the drop back in trip is a positive.

Did well to win on his first run back from a long absence at Kempton last time, and steps up in trip here having been raised 5lb. This is another weak affair but the extra weight won't make it easy.

Previously good at placing without looking in danger of winning a number of races, and was entitled to need the run on her first start for over 18 months last time. Should do better here.

C&D winner last time for which a 3lb rise in the weights seems fair. That was his first win in 23 attempts but the jockey booking here is a definite positive.

Poor form in three maidens and makes his handicap debut here off a lowly mark and in a very weak race. Still best watched on his first run since September.

Navajo Storm196

Hinted at ability when trained by Michael Appleby and has since switched trainers. This isn't a competitive starting point but she'd need to improve on recent efforts to go close.

Yet to score in nine attempts, and hasn't improved since moving into handicap company. Tough to see her getting off the mark anytime soon.

Only career victory came over further than this and unlikely to get the stamina test she needs to show something like her best here.

Only poor runs in four attempts on the Flat so far and even less impressive when pulled-up before the third last over hurdles at Wetherby in October.

Forecasts

Oyster Card (9/4), Outrath (7/2), Navajo Storm (4/1), Gee Sixty Six (13/2), Mr Frankie (13/2), Bushel (8/1), Ocean Gale (11/1), Jumbo's Boy (12/1), Kay Sera (16/1), Quiet Weekend (20/1), What A Party (28/1), Cecilator (28/1)

Verdict

A weak race as you would expect in this grade, where recent good form is in short supply. However, OYSTER CARD managed to win over C&D last time and has been raised only 3lb for that, which is fair enough. With Silvestre De Sousa a positive jockey booking there's every chance he can make it two wins in a row. Mr Frankie is another to consider if overcoming a tough draw, as well as another last time out winner in Outrath.
