Impressive when beating Encore d'Or at Lingfield over this trip and followed up with a win over 6f here last time out. Yard in excellent form in recent weeks and 2lb rise for his most recent win looks fair. Ought to run well.
Lost his maiden tag in fine fashion at Brighton and followed up at Sandown. He was inconsistent throughout the rest of 2017 but certainly respected on stable debut for a yard that do well with their sprinters having been bought for 100,000 gns.
Only finished ½L behind the reopposing Tomily when last seen and gets a useful 5lb pull in the weights with that rival. Not won since landing this race last year but he's a very consistent sort who should run well again.
Has been running consistently well since joining this yard and he's placed on both AW attempts. On a career high mark but likely we haven't seen the best of him yet and hard one to put a line through.
Group 2 winner in his pomp but he didn't manage to get a win on the board last year and his record fresh in uninspiring. Trainer has stronger claims with his other runners.
On a long losing run now and has been inconsistent this winter. Ran well behind a smart sort at Newcastle in November but two subsequent efforts have been below par and he's still above his highest winning mark from all the way back in 2016.
Won his maiden here over 7f on debut but took sometime to record another win. Progressed well throughout last summer, recording four wins from his last seven starts. Can't be ruled out if ready to go after his absence.
Finally got down to a competitive handicap mark this winter but duly went back up the handicap for winning at Lingfield and others are probably on more lenient marks. Up against it from the widest draw.

Tomily (5/2), A Momentofmadness (11/4), Jumira Bridge (5/1), Evergate (7/1), Compas Scoobie (8/1), Dynamo Walt (10/1), Green Door (12/1), Tarboosh (12/1), Bowson Fred (12/1), George Dryden (25/1)
A MOMENTOFMADNESS may be the one to side with in his bid to land back-to-back renewals of this race. He gets a useful pull at the weights with the respected Tomily and he may be able to reverse the form. Robert Cowell's trio of runners can't be dismissed and Jumira Bridge looks like his strongest chance on debut for this yard having been bought for a six figure sum last year.
