Landed first success when getting up close home to score over 6f at Wolverhampton last time. Seems equally adept at this trip and is in good form so entitled to go close once again.
Raised 1lb for finishing second over C&D in November on handicap bow having won on debut here over 6f. Still open to improvement and remains fairly unexposed so could be a danger to all if fully fit.
Makes AW debut. Scored over 5f here on turf in nursery handicap last summer, but not seen since disappointing badly when last of 10 at Sandown in September. Interesting jockey booking though so worth a market check.
Consistent sort won over C&D in January off 10lb lower mark. Not quicken inside distance here last two starts and suspicion handicapper may just about have his measure for now.
Went close on racceourse bow last term in Nottingham novice stakes but a little disappointing in three subsequent starts last term. Makes AW and handicap bow here and might just be worth a chaeck as seems to go well fresh.
Two wins last month (including C&D) but has gone up 16lb since the first of them. Narrowly beaten off 4lb lower mark when long odds-on at Southwell last time out . Top jockey booked though so not dismissed out of hand.
Made winning debut at Chelmsford last May but failed to shine in next six starts. Returns after winter break. Handles surface and was unlucky here only previous visit. Market may tell its own story.
Forecasts
Gold Filigree (11/4), Warrior's Valley (3/1), Dotted Swiss (7/2), Sir Hector (4/1), Blessed To Empress (8/1), Princess Keira (20/1), Firenze Rosa (33/1)
This is a very trappy handicap to start the day with just about all the runners having some sort of a chance. DOTTED SWISS is a tentative choice on her seasonal reappearance having run well here on her only previous visit. There are a host of dangers, including the in-form Gold Filigree, and Warrior's Valley. Firenze Rosa and Princess Keira may both run well after a break and any market move for them would be worthy of note.
