Modest hurdles winner (2m4f) who was well beaten on flat debut at Woverhampton (1m1½f) last time. Step back in trip not ideal on that evidence and will probably need further in time.
Modest maiden who has been tried at a variety of trips to date. Takes a huge drop in trip today having run over 2 miles last time. Has hand wind operation and returns from a short break.
Well beaten in four bumpers at the back end of last year. Switched codes to be seventh of nine beaten 10½L at Newcastle (1m4½f, AW) on first flat start last time. Hard to fancy.
Promising type who forged clear to win by 6L at Southwell (AW) last time. That's the best piece of form on offer here and should go well if handling these different conditions.
Missed only intended start as a two-year-old when getting upset in the stalls at Newmarket and was withdrawn. Has switched stables since and the hood is retained from that intended debut. Has a nice pedigree but clearly has his quirks.
Offered very little on two starts last term for previous yard. Change of scenery now and has been gelded over the winter. Did start favourite on debut so not without complete hope there is some ability there.
Finished last of 16 over 6f here on only start last season. Best watched for now.

Well beaten fifth of 11 (6f) at Newcastle on final of two starts last season. Step up in trip likely to suit but handicaps may well be the target for shrewd trainer on the back of this.
Lots of promise from three starts at the back end of last season, improving with each run. Any improvement over the winter will put him in with a major shout. Sire's progeny tend to handle soft ground well. Should go well.
Big price and eighth of 11 when well beaten over 7f here in October. Needs to improve.

Both Changing Minds and Langho are newcomers to note and any market moves should be taken seriously. Kripke comes here in fine fettle on the back of his easy success at Southwell and brings the best peice of from to the table but the selection is RARE GROOVE. Having shown improved form with each run last season, the son of Lope De Vega should relish these conditions and take this on route to better things.
