Zoffany colt no impression on winner but not disgraced when second of nine on racecourse debut in a 6½f maiden when last seen here in September. Experience of track could be beneficial.
Made his racecourse debut in a Dundalk maiden earlier this month when disappointing connections finishing 10th of 11 beaten 27L over 1m. Looks opposable.
Last of eight on sole start in a Leopardstown maiden when last seen in June last year. Will have strengthened up and has been gelded so market watch is advised.
Not much to take from three starts so far and already has a lot to prove. May do better over further in due course following being gelded but makes limited appeal this time on seasonal debut.
Gelding by Rip Van Winkle out of a Salse mare. Improved on debut run when finishing 3¾L behind Medal Of Honour when last seen at Dundalk in December. May need the run on return to the track.
Excelebration filly who cost €160,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to Group 3 winner Scream Blue Murder. Last of 10 on debut when last seen in a Curragh fillies contest over 7f in August. Better expected.
Looked a little one-paced on debut when last seen in May over 6f in a 'hot' Cork maiden. Will be expected to improve and worth a market check.
Hampered on debut in a Leopardstown maiden on sole start in October. Yard starting well with winners already on the board.
Will have disappointed connections in a number of drab displays at Dundalk on the AW since December and looks up against it here.
Forecasts
Scream (7/4), Iiex Excelsa (3/1), King Of Leinster (5/1), Impossibility (11/2), Luzum (8/1), Twenty Minutes (14/1), Kudbegood (33/1), Sunnyhill Lad (66/1), Tempestua (66/1)
Tempestua has started quickly in two of his three career starts so could make the early running here. Impossibility finished 5¾L behind the winner in a race at the Curragh in May that has produced eight winners from the race and along with Ilex Excelsa from the Fozzy Stack-yard can battle with Ger Lyons-trained Scream for the minor honours. The runner-up position of KING OF LEINSTER on debut here in September will be a positive for the colt as he bids to improve on that genuine run.
- King Of Leinster
- Impossibility
- Scream
