10/11
Bumper winner who won in good style over C&D (heavy) on his hurdling debut in the autumn. Has flattered to deceive a little since but remains of interest and this track could easily bring the best out in him again.

Book Of Love21

25/1
Fairly moderate efforts in four hurdles starts in Ireland during 2016, returned from 479-day absence with point-to-point win earlier this month and worth paying attention to in betting on first rules start for new handler.

Going Gold14
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: James Bowen(3)| T: R Hobson| OR:  122
11/8
Cost £80,000 after winning a point-to-point but hasn't quite lived up to expectations without being disgraced in three hurdles runs so far. Best effort came last time at Kempton (2m, good to soft) and may build on that.

Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: Robert Hogg(7)| T: K Dalgleish
50/1
Pulled up at Sedgefield last week on hurdles bow / debut for new yard. Raced prominently before fading on return from 459-day off. This run comes quickly enough on the back of that effort.

100/1
Sent off at 12/1 but never in it on debut and was eventually pulled up in a maiden hurdle (2m½f, soft) at Newcastle in December and laboured in the finish same month at Ayr. More required.
6
Horse silk
7/1
Point-to-point winner (1-6 overall) and anything but disgraced in Musselburgh bumper on debut for this yard in November on good ground. Step up in trip ought to suit now sent over timber.

Son of Overbury is out of a dam who won twice up to 1m4f and is from the family of some very useful hurdlers, including Stayers' Hurdle star Inglis Drever. Tame effort at Ayr in January on debut, may be capable of better.

Ella's Dene95
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-7| J: Thomas Dowson(3)| T: T Reed
100/1
Home-bred mare who was tailed off in a Sedgefield bumper on debut on Boxing Day. A proverbial mountain to climb on hurdles debut in order to take a hand.
9
Horse silk
22/1
Mare ran a promising race (second, beaten 10L) in a good-ground Exeter bumper in April last year on only previous outing under rules. Could be capable of having a say now over timber.

Forecasts

Donna's Delight (10/11), Going Gold (11/8), Lovely Schtuff (7/1), Koala Keel (22/1), Book Of Love (25/1), Younoyounoyouno (40/1), Goliath (50/1), Hooligan Jack (100/1), Ella's Dene (100/1)

Verdict

DONNA'S DELIGHT won over C&D on his first hurdles start and can regain the winning thread now. He's run well at times in defeat since and the form of his Newcastle third in January looks decent with the winner and second both scoring since. Going Gold ran his best race over timber at Kempton recently and can figure alongside Koala Keel and Lovely Schtuff.
  1. Donna's Delight
  2. Going Gold
  3. Lovely Schtuff
