First AW start for the three-time turf winner. Went close on seasonal debut last term so absence not a massive concern. 4lb higher though than last win, at Catterick in the summer, so needs to be spot on to score.
Won 3-20 for Ed Dunlop, including AW victory over 6f at Newcastle 15 months ago. First start for new handler and looks fairly handicapped if fit enough to do himself justice after 170-day break.
Landed a mid-winter hat-trick and was raised 15lb in the process for his troubles. Has continued to run well in defeat since but is now 6lb higher than last win so looks up against it.
Rattled off a fine hat-trick in January at Southwell, subsequently went close here three times before winning again at Southwell earlier this month. Just caught at Chelmsford last time and remains in fine form. Should be thereabouts yet again.
Admirable veteran, winner of eight races. Should be better for a recent outing following a break and despite advancing years cannot be ruled out of calculations in a race that may be run to suit.
Struck over C&D in Noevmebr and after two disappointing efforts went very close at Chelmsford last time out. Raised 2lb but still commands respect with yard's few recent runners performing well.
Five wins in last 63 starts have all come at Chelmsford and is 0-12 at Wolverhampton during that period. Has run with credit here on occasions, but on balance others make more appeal.
Forecasts
Something Lucky (2/1), Zamjar (7/2), Berryessa (5/1), Jorvik Prince (5/1), Invincible Ridge (13/2), Yorkshiredebut (12/1), Red Stripes (12/1)
Although he is well into the veteran stage, INVINCIBLE RIDGE is still capable of scoring at this grade and hinted last time that his winning turn might not be far away. In a trappy finale a case can be made for most of the others, including Jorvik Prince and Something Lucky who have both been in very good form this winter. Zamjar is interesting on his first start for sprint king Robert Cowell, and Berryessa is another with claims.
