Has finished runner-up in four of his six starts here. Has been admirably consistent this season and, although his current mark is up with events, he meets rivals here with plenty to prove on current form. Stable took this last year.
C&D winner who beat a subsequent dual winner at Ffos Las in November. Has never been consistent and his two poor runs since off his revised mark were predictable. Looks better treated here in less exalted company and he is due another good run.
Last two runs have been poor but he has previously shown himself capable of bouncing back when the handicapper has dropped him to around this mark. Stable have been going well and it usually pays to keep an eye on their runners in the market.
It took a while for him to open his account but the fitting of cheekpieces have been a big difference. May have needed the run last time, but a further absence is a concern.
Sole win came two years ago but he has just started to show some form lately and he would have gone very close last time but for a blunder five out. Looks the type who might appreciate this stiff track and he has each-way claims off his low weight.
Well-handicapped on some of his old form and he attracted support here last time when beaten by an in-form course specialist. Good claimer booked and he has been second here in three of his five starts.
Has been unlucky to meet well-handicapped rivals on his last two starts although he is undoubtedly flattered by his proximity to them. Step up to 3m looks a wise move given his lack of pace.
Claims if reproducing his Boxing Day form but he looks held by a few of these on more recent efforts.

Dontminddboys (11/4), Try It Sometime (7/2), Onurbike (5/1), Midnight Mustang (7/1), What Larks (8/1), Big Time Frank (8/1), Magical Man (9/1), Finish The Story (10/1), Over My Head (16/1)
Dontminddboys has been holding his form well and usually gives a good account around this demanding circuit. However, he shoulders a big weight for the conditions and has to concede 29lb to TRY IT SOMETIME. The ten-year-old is another who acts well around here and was unfortunate to bump into an in-form rival here last time. Onurbike, What Larks and Big Time Frank all hold chances off their low weights, whilst Finish The Story is hard to fancy on current form but has shown he can bounce back when dropped to this level from this kind of mark.
