Had a couple of these behind when scoring last time. Won with a bit to spare and despite an awkward head carriage. New mark looks fair but he may have work to do against some of his less exposed rivals.
Has run to a similar level on each run. Capable of improvement now stepping up in trip as dam stayed 1m6f and sire gets winners on this surface. Her form with Learn By Heart puts her on a good mark and stable have been going well.
Closely matched with Sotomayor on latest form but chances are she will improve on that first run in three months.
Showed a willing attitude to cling on to victory in a three-way photo last time and fulfil the potential previous market support had suggested was there. More to do in better company off a higher mark, but possible that win can help him kick on.
Has been running to a consistent level of late and last run matches him closely with Sotomayor and Dream Malfunction. Champion rider booked and another honest run can be expected.
Makes handicap debut for an in form yard. Not overburdened by his initial mark so not to be dismissed lightly.
Forecasts
Sotomayor (3/1), Mouchee (3/1), One Second (10/3), Font Vert (4/1), Dream Malfunction (7/1), Banksy's Art (16/1)
Sotomayor had Mouchee and Dream Malfunction behind when scoring last time. The latter was returning from a layoff and may be the one to take out of that trio on these terms. However, ONE SECOND could be the one to now that she steps up in trip for her handicap debut. She had two subsequent 80+ rated horses behind when chasing home a useful sort on her second start and, with her yard in form, she could be worth chancing on her return from a break. Font Vert showed good battling qualities to score last time but has more to do against better horses this time. Banksy's Art looks fairly treated for his handicap debut for another yard going well.
- One Second
- Dream Malfunction
- Mouchee
