Has failed to shine for this yard since moving from Archie Watson and his latest effort in a three-runner claimer flatters him.
Three early turf wins but has since developed into something of a fibresand-specialist with five wins at Southwell. Well-beaten here last time and there are more viable opportunities.
Has had a good winter, but her style of running leaves her vulnerable around this circuit. Jockey booking takes the eye, but would make more appeal over 7f.
Broke an 18-race losing streak when making all to score by a nose at Kempton, but now faces tougher rivals off 3lb higher.
Lost a shoe when underperforming last time, but his turn looked near judged on his previous C&D run. Below his last winning mark and this is not a strong class five contest.
1-25 record but performed well for this rider on stable debut when third to an in-form rival. Stable going well and no surprise to see him go close again.
Produced a good run over C&D in October from a poor draw and now 5lb lower. Will be better for his recent return to action and has the pace to make the most of a good draw this time.
Twice a winner for David Barron but winless for this yard, despite a couple of runner-up efforts last year. Has been too keen on recent starts, but now drawn to get more cover.
Well-placed to win four times on turf last season and has produced a couple of good runs this winter. The latest came here over 5f and another drop in the weights leaves him attractively weighted with the extra furlong in his favour.
Forecasts
Madrinho (13/8), Pulsating (7/2), Strategic Heights (5/1), Dream Farr (8/1), Father Mckenzie (10/1), Kinglami (14/1), Red Tycoon (16/1), Piazon (20/1), Alkashaaf (20/1)
Few of these hold any secrets from the handicapper, but KINGLAMI shaped promisingly last time and has fallen in the weights to a mark well below his turf rating and this trip looks more suitable. Madrinho shaped well on his stable debut, but he is hard to catch right , whilst Pulsating can leave herself with too much work to do and she could find this circuit a disadvantage. Dream Farr looks the main danger as he went well here on his return and there was a valid excuse for his run last time.
- Kinglami
- Dream Farr
- Madrinho
