Flat form nothing to write home about but has been running well over hurdles lately, winning at Plumpton in January and second to an improver at Huntingdon. On a fair enough mark if he can translate that form back to the Flat.
Been running better as of late, without setting the world alight, and seemed to stay this trip when a close third at Southwell on latest start. Handles this surface and if taking another step forward, holds chances.
Did well to cheat both a poor draw and a slow pace last time, as he came from an unpromising position to get up late. 3lb higher here but in good form and a solid pace will help his chances again.
Has already fallen a long way from her opening handicap mark but she looked about ready to take advantage when a close fourth over C&D last time, sticking well to the task. Should yet do better and not ruled out.
Effective at this trip but recent efforts don't suggest he's a winner in waiting, and connections now go for blinkers to stem the tide. Others readily preferred.
Well into the veteran stage now, and some time since he got on the scoresheet. This trip an absolute minimum and it's not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
A maiden after 26 starts and although he plugged on to finish midfield over C&D last time, overall profile suggests the winner will come from somewhere else.
Shown little so far but did at least do a little better (at 100/1) last time. However, this trip a total unknown and on that, others make more appeal.

Forecasts
Famous Dynasty (2/1), Tommys Geal (3/1), Arabian Oasis (7/2), Argyle (9/2), Udogo (6/1), Tinker Tailor (8/1), Hong Kong Joe (16/1), Handsome Dan (16/1), Shamonix (20/1)
Not many of these make much appeal, and the fact there could be a muddling pace on doesn't help matters when trying to find the winner. TOMMYS GEAL can be no more than a token selection in a tricky finale, as at least she's in form and should run her race again. Arabian Oasis took a small step forward last time and another one would make him the danger here. Of those towards the foot of the handicap, maybe there's better to come from Shamonix .
