Is a C&D winner and did run well at huge odds at Chelmsford in December, but that effort stands out amongst a sea of mediocre ones lately. Drops in grade, which may help, but others have more pressing claims.
On a decent enough mark these days but was in poor form when when last seen out (in October) and has little form after a break to make him a strong recommendation here.
Winner over hurdles last year, and has form off similar marks that give him a chance, but this trip on the short side and he's likely to need this after a break as well. Others make more appeal.
Tailed off on both last two starts but had won at Leicester before that, so it's not all bad news. Returns from a break with a hood fitted, which may help, and has gone well after a break, so can't be totally ruled out.
Had a decent enough first season, wining twice (including a first-time hood) and went close over C&D in July too. May have more to offer this year and with yard going well, has chances if fit on seasonal debut.
Finding his stride now, and reversed earlier form with Lacan when winning over C&D last time out, benefiting from an excellent ride. Up another 4lb but going the right way and from a decent draw, has chances of the follow up.
Has a pleasing win ratio (5-15) and is a C&D winner as well, so has those plus points. Form rather tailed off towards end of last year but could just be the type to catch fresh (won first time up last year) and is interesting.
Has won after a short break, so absence not necessarily an issue, but seems happier on turf (all wins have come with some cut in the ground) and on that, and the form of the yard, is best watched here.
No problem with conditions but is paying for his consistency as the handicapper isn't dropping him much. Likely to be thereabouts again but more likely to be playing for the places than the win.
Mark failing quickly these days but that's down to the fact he's clearly on the downgrade, and this trip is further than he'd like as well. Not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.

OUD METHA BRIDGE looks the one on an upward curve and despite a small rise in the weights for his win here last time out, looks the solid option to follow up. Georgian Bay is always more likely to hit the frame than win, but he should run his race again and go close. Zlatan has a similar profile to Georgian Bay but is one to consider for more exotic bets.
