Has been in good form since the turn of the year, winning one of his five races (over C&D) and generally performing with credit. No shame in his recent close second, again over C&D, and has strong claims off 1lb higher.
Fine strike rate of 5-11 on the AW and has only once finished out of the frame. Has a C&D win to his credit and although he has been raised again following his win at Wolverhampton last time, he warrants serious consideration.
French import who has been well held in two starts at Wolverhampton since joining his current trainer. Down 11lb since the first of those runs, but remains with something to prove.
Six career wins, four of them on the AW, but on quite a long, losing streak. Not disgraced on last three starts, however, and he has dropped to a feasible handicap rating.
Defied odds of 40-1 to win a Wolverhampton handicap two starts ago, but failed to back that up at the same track last time. Up in class and likely to find at least a couple of his rivals too good.

Forecasts
Nonios (6/5), King Kevin (11/4), Van Huysen (3/1), Blue Rocks (14/1), Baz (16/1), Laqab (25/1)
Stable companions Baz and Laqab have plenty to prove for the time being, Van Huysen is on a long, losing sequence and Blue Rocks has to cope with a rise in class, so this should be fought out by Nonios and KING KEVIN. The latter has to cope with a career-high mark, but may not have stopped improving and gets a narrow vote.
