Slightly disappointing when seventh over C&D last time out, but that was his first run after a break and there's every chance he can improve on that effort off a 2lb lower mark.
A winner at Wolverhampton last time who has been put up 3lb in the weights for that narrow victory. Went close over C&D two starts back off that winning mark, and should be capable of going close once again.
Winner over 1m2f at Lingfield when last seen in January Up just 3lb, which is fair, and commands respect as a C&D winner, but needs to avoid the 'bounce' factor having won on his first start since a long break.
This is the easiest race he's tackled in some time and he ran a fair race on stable debut two starts back (not so good at Deauville last time). Could capitalise on this class drop.
C&D winner who recently scored in a weak enough contest over 7f here. Found out at Wolverhampton last time carrying an extra 4lb, but the return to Polytrack here can be considered a positive.
The better two of his three runs for Richard Hannon both came at this course and has since joined this smaller yard. Having his first run for almost a year now but is left with plenty to prove.
Only win to date came in a maiden over C&D and is slowly making her way down to an appealing handicap mark. Drop in trip is also a positive, as is the fact she's entitled to come on from the run last time.
Hasn't been at his best recently but this top jockey retakes the ride looking to build on his 40% (2-5) record on this C&D winner. One for the shortlist.
Has been running fairly well in better races than this recently and is slowly making his way down the handicap, but isn't getting any younger and may be vulnerable to younger rivals.
Well handicapped on his best form and is a dual C&D winner (all career victories over this or similar trips). Tough to be confident following his recent performances, though, including an attempt over hurdles.
Dual course winner, but those victories were both over 7f and 0-7 over this trip (at all courses). Hasn't been seen since July and has to deal with his higher handicap rating on the AW.
A definite step in the right direction last time when a very narrow third over 1m2f at Lingfield and is drawn well here, but was previously 5L behind Cayuga at that same course, and needs to find a way to turn that form around.

Forecasts
Derek Duval (5/2), Kingston Kurrajong (9/2), Lunar Deity (6/1), Music Major (8/1), Cayuga (10/1), Scottish Glen (10/1), Professor (12/1), Golden Nectar (14/1), Briyouni (14/1), Zefferino (14/1), Baltic Prince (16/1), Gulland Rock (33/1), Caramuru (40/1), Tee It Up Tommo (66/1)
A competitive enough handicap where Baltic Prince may be able to manage a more accomplished performance now switching back to the Polytrack, while it's interesting to see Andrea Atzeni booked for the ride on Lunar Deity, having a 2-5 record on the horse but having not ridden him since July 2015. Narrow preference, however, is for DEREK DUVAL. He's clearly in good form having won at Wolverhampton last time, and though he's gone up 3lb for that small margin victory he still looks well-treated based on his two previous runs here.
- Derek Duval
- Lunar Deity
- Baltic Prince
