Made his handicap debut on Fibresand (1m) at Southwell recently and that appeared to be too much of a stamina test. Switches back to 7f on Tapeta seeking to build upon a fair run in a Wolverhampton maiden in February.
Remains a maiden after nine starts and has hardly thrived since returning to action in 2018; failing to beat a single rival in two starts. Falling in the weights, but for a good reason.
Beaten just over 1L by Regina Nostra on her first try on synthetics at Wolverhampton last month (7f fillies novice stakes). That was a fair effort for her seasonal reappearance, so much respected now switched to the handicapping route (debut).
Big Bad Bob filly who cost 42,000 gns as a yearling out of a Cockney Rebel mare (Cockney Dancer). Offered limited promise in three starts as a juvenile, but could possibly be a stronger filly having wintered. More needed upped in trip.
A much improved performer during the early weeks of 2018, and arrives seeking the hat-trick following victories at Wolverhampton (7f) and over C&D. Up 2lb for her latest all the way success, so we know that she's a battle hardened filly.
Society Rock gelding who truthfully hasn't appeared up to all that much in three starts on turf (6f to 7f). Back from a break (had wind surgery) and onto the AW in the hope that there's at least something under the bonnet.
Forecasts
Musbaq (6/4), Elixsoft (4/1), Dalawyna (9/2), Ventura Gold (11/2), Patty Patch (9/1), Viking Way (12/1)
Elixsoft wasn't all that dissimilar to a few of these rivals until hitting an unexpected vein of form in early January. She is now viewed as a tough, front runner who deserves her place towards the fore of the market. However, she might well prove vulnerable to an improving horse. Musbaq was with Mark Johnston as a juvenile, and this 7f test looks much more suitable than 1m on Fibresand with the benefit of hindsight, but preference is for DALAWYNA. She posted a pleasing seasonal/AW debut at Wolverhampton last month when beaten just over 1L by Regina Nostra, and she rates as a likely handicap debut winner on what could prove to be a profitable evening for her trainer Kevin Ryan.
- Dalawyna
- Musbaq
- Elixsoft
