In tremendous form since her winning streak began in November and has a good chance of completing a five-timer despite continuing to rise in the weights. Goes well for her apprentice rider (claims 7lb) and sets the standard yet again.
8lb better off for a length-and-three-quarters with Rock On Baileys for their running at Chelmsford earlier this month. On the face of it should gain his revenge but it won't be easy. Second again at Newcastle last time.
9lb better in with Rock On Baileys for nearly three lengths defeat at Chelmsford. Tired close home over 7f last time and drop back will suit from a good draw. Looks a danger.
Beaten favourite over 7f last time out when disappointing have been runner-up in two of three previous starts. Won here over 7f in November but may just about be in the grip of the handicapper at present.
Progressive form in three career starts culminating with narrow success over this trip at Lingfield last time out. First time in a handicap and could be more to come so looks one for the short-list.
Showed some ability in all three maiden starts before being gelded. First run since and makes his handicap debut off workable mark. Yard capable of getting one ready so definitely worth a glance in the market.
Ended last term wining at the 10th time of asking, landing a Nottingham maiden by a head. Fair effort on return at Chelmsford this month when runner-up and stayed on over 5f. Worth a chance at this trip and has prospects.
Has just over a length to find with Kodiac Express on their running at Chelmsford last time. Jockey booking looks interesting and is open to improvement on this handicap bow. Yard had a couple of winners lately.
Forecasts
Rock On Baileys (9/4), Mighty Mac (4/1), Montague (11/2), Enzo's Lad (7/1), Rastacap (8/1), Kodiac Express (8/1), Our Man In Havana (10/1), Shortbackandsides (14/1)
It's often worth sticking with a filly in form, so despite a further rise in her mark ROCK ON BAILEYS is taken to complete a five-timer. Mighty Mac may prove the biggest danger and looks on a fair mark for his handicap bow, and both Kodiac Express and Shortbackandsides, and Enzo's Lad also enter calculations for the same reason. Montague and Rastacap are not dismissed either in a fair little contest.
- Rock On Baileys
- Mighty Mac
- Enzo's Lad
